I just finished reading the Ecological Indian for AP US, and it might have been the most boring thing I've done this weekend. So I guess that's not to bad, except that the highlight of the reading was when my cat hit me in the face... I think the reading was made boring by the authors. Whose main goal, it seemed, was to impart the knowledge that they really had no idea about what they were talking about. Sure, they had a few solid facts, but the rest of what they did was pure speculation. This was the reason I almost cut my wrists to end the monotony. Every time they seemed ready to proclaim something as a fact they would renege, and end up discrediting themselves. After five pages of indecisiveness on the authors part, I had to resist the urge to throw my papers down and dismantle my room.
What I've learned from this is to never become a full time Native American historian. I would end up murdering my colleagues in a fit of rage over their inability to come up with a satisfactory response for anything.
Aside from murderous thoughts it been a pretty good weekend. I manage get taunted by Joanna, pole dance, and almost throw up after an epic bout on some spinning contraption. I claim success once again.
Wow, I sorry for your boredom, why don't u go watch the track meet going down on tv?
